About the park
The park takes in the Shar, Desat and Bistra mountains, topped by Golem Korab at 2,764 m. Its forests hold more than 100 rare tree species, the hills are full of wild herbs, and Lake Mavrovo below the ski centre makes it a weekend escape all year round.
