The route
We start at the Vodno police station and climb to Middle Vodno, then take one of several trails to the top of Vodno and the Millennium Cross, depending on the group. Short breaks on the way, a longer one at the top.
You can also drive to Middle Vodno or take the cable car to the top; we arrange this on the day.
From the top we walk on towards Matka. At the end we visit the monastery of St. Nikola Sisevski, and you can also see the church of St. Andrew and the Monastery of the Dormition of the Mother of God. We have lunch at Matka and return to Skopje by organised transport.
