On the river
The Radika runs through a wild canyon in Mavrovo National Park, between the Bistra and Korab mountains, and in spring the snowmelt turns it into fast whitewater. We raft where and when the water is right, so we choose the river and the section a few days before the trip.
What to bring
- Swimwear and clothes that can get wet
- Trainers or sandals that stay on your feet
- A towel and dry clothes for later

Do I need rafting experience?
No. You paddle in a raft with a guide, who explains everything before the start.
When can we go rafting?
Spring is best, when the rivers are full. Later in the year it depends on the water level, so ask us about your dates.
